C3 MONSTER CHARGER WHEEL
R&D’s C3 Monster Compressor Wheel for all Sea Doo 215 4 Tec engines
will deliver “horsepower you can feel” with instant throttle response,
improved mid range acceleration, and increased top end performance. The
R&D Monster Wheel replaces the stock wheels inefficient long inducer, and
6 blade design, with a modern low profile high flow 8 blade w/splitter design
with increased blade tip height. The R&D C3 Monster Wheel will deliver a
solid 9.5 pounds of boost pressure with a 2.5-3 pound per minute airflow
gain. The R&D C3 Monster Wheel fits directly into the O.E.M. compressor
housing using a kit supplied .080” compressor case spacer for a “no
modifications” bolt on and go part. The increased blade tip height allows
more air to flow over the wheel thus producing more pounds of air per
minute of flow. The C3 Monster Kit has proven to perform well against
aftermarket kits with larger inducer housings at a fraction of the cost,
making the R&D C3 Monster Kit “the most bang for the buck”. The C3
Monster works exclusively with the O.E.M. intercooler, and performs well on
91 octane pump gasoline. Boost rated at 9psi @ 8000ppm and 11psi
@8500 rpm.

NOTE: The R&D C3 Monster Compressor Wheel delivers a 2.5-3.0 pound
per minute airflow gain (approximately 30 horsepower at sea level). The C3
Monster Wheel will work best in 2000 ft. plus elevations, or in ambient air
temperatures of 100 plus degrees. For high altitude situations (such as
Denver, Colorado) or high heat conditions (above 100 degrees), R&D sug-
gests the C3-C4 range of Monster Wheels. Air density is greatly influenced
by heat and altitude combinations. In conditions where the air becomes less
dense, power will be lost. R&D offers a range of compressor wheels that will
allow the engine tuner to compensate for air density losses with a range of
compressor wheels with increased blade tip height and increased inducer
sizes, all with increased air flow volumes rated in pounds per minute.
NOTE: For closed course or endurance racing use using the Rotax racing
E.C.U. where rpms are between 8250 and 8500, R&D recommends the use
of X model or aftermarket intercooler system. Tests have proven the O.E.M.
intercooler to have restrictions at 23.5 pounds of air, or 9.5 pounds of boost
at sea level and 60-80 degrees.

R&D’s C5 Monster Compressor Wheel Kit for all Sea Doo 215 4 Tec
engines will deliver 40 “X” type horsepower to the 2004-2008 RXT/RXP Sea
Doo’s to significantly increase overall performance. The R&D Monster
Wheel Kit replaces the stock wheels inefficient long inducer, and 6 blade
design, with a modern low profile high flow 8 blade w/splitter design with a
2mm larger inducer and increased blade tip height. The R&D C5 Monster
Wheel Kit will deliver a solid 11 plus pounds of boost pressure with a 4
pound per minute airflow gain. The R&D C5 Monster Wheel fits directly into
a kit supplied O.E.M. “X” front compressor housing using a .080”
compressor case spacer for a “no modifications” bolt on power upgrade kit.
The increased inducer size and blade tip height allows more air to flow over
the wheel thus producing more pounds of air flow per minute. The C5
Monster will require the use of the “X”, or aftermarket intercooler kits, and
performs well on 91 octane pump gasoline. Boost rated at 11psi@8000rpm
and 13psi@8500rpm.

per minute airflow gain (approximately 35-40 horsepower at sea level). The
C5 Monster Wheel Kit will work best in 3000 ft. plus elevation situations
(such as Denver, Colorado) or high heat conditions (above 100 degrees)
with the O.E.M. intercooler. For sea level use with rpm’s over 8100 and the
C5 Monster Wheel Kit, R&D strongly suggests that the “X” or aftermarket
intercooler kits be used as high boost pressures and high air volumes will
dead head into the O.E.M. intercooler causing compressor surge. For
closed course or endurance racing use using the Rotax racing E.C.U. where
rpms are between 8250 and 8500, R&D recommends the use of the X
model or aftermarket intercooler system. Tests have proven the O.E.M.
