Inside View of Chin Pad
Now that you have completed Step #1 you will need to purchase a UMI sealed Bearing Steering System (shown
to the right). You have a choice of turn plates to install in conjunction with the UMI Steering system. A steering
stop is not required for UMI handlepole because the UMI handlepole is supplied with the stop when the handle
pole is purchased. OEM Kawasaki turn plates and mount systems will not fit on a Superjet type handlepole.
Kawasaki OEM Chin Pads will not fit on the Superjet type Handlepoles. You must purchase a
Yamaha Superjet Type Chin Pad and you have a choice of a 24-7 or Blowsion Yamaha Type
Chin Pad as shown below.
